Our Proposal
Our focus is on aligning your vision with your budget. By discussing each aspect in detail, we can provide an accurate estimation of the construction costs and establish realistic timelines for the completion of your new home.
Designing the Dream
We team you up with a design team hand-picked to suit your individual needs to turn your ideas into concepts. We will optimise your block’s orientation to maximise its key features. With flexibility and creativity, we will work together refining designs until you are satisfied with the floor plan and elevation style.
Doing the Legwork
We prepare a comprehensive cost breakdown for the construction of your home, complete with optional inclusions customised to your liking. We will meticulously manage the entire local council approval process, ensuring that no detail is overlooked and all planning and building requirements are thoroughly met.
Personalise It
It’s time for you to select your colours, finishes, fixtures, and fittings. You will have the opportunity to see all the products in person before finalising your selections. If you desire, we can team you up with our interior designers to assist in applying the finishing touches that mirror your unique style.
Scheduling & Timelines
While the building approval process is underway, we will guide you through the process to establish accounts with all essential service authorities (power, water, gas, etc.). Once we receive building approval, and you have finalised your selections, we can proactively engage with suppliers and contractors to get started on site.
Building the Dream
This is when our unique collaborative approach begins on site. We will keep you regularly updated with our progress. Your builder Scott is always keen to catch up on site, take your call or email to run through any queries you may have. We encourage you to visit site, ask questions and take part in the journey. During construction we engage structural engineers to inspect key stages of your build, and we also engage with independent certified building inspectors to ensure your home is built to the highest standard.
Attention to Detail
What sets Equilibrium Homes apart is our attention to detail and our high level of communication throughout. Once construction is complete you will have the opportunity to thoroughly inspect your new custom-built home. Together we will identify any final touches that require attention before you move in.
The Big Move
Once everything is signed off, it is handover time. You will receive the keys to your new individually designed, custom built home ready for you to move in. Your unique building experience doesn’t end there. We are always available to address any issues that may arise over the coming months. After 12 months we will carry out a maintenance inspection to make sure that everything is as it should be.

Yes. Scott oversees each project personally and stays involved from start to finish. You’ll always have direct access, not just a supervisor or admin team.
Can I make changes once the build has started?
Absolutely, and we don’t charge variation fees. If you want to make a change, just let us know. We’ll help you explore your options and make it happen.
How will I be kept informed during the build?
We keep you in the loop with regular updates on what’s happening onsite and what’s coming next. You’ll have direct access to the builder, so if you ever have a question or concern, you won’t be chasing answers, you’ll already have them.
